Volatile solvents are a group of easily accessible substances that are part of everyday life. When they reach the lung alveoli and get in the circulation, they cause a lot of sensations: well-being, euphoria, neuromuscular deficit, visual hallucinations and many other symptoms. Inhalation and consequent poisoning can occur in different scenarios, whether occupational, accidental or recreational, bringing serious consequences to the community. In this context, evaluating the epidemiology and level of knowledge of these users is essential for public health measures to be taken. This project developed as a descriptive observational ecological study. The information collection instrument was through a public domain database. The information was compiled using spreadsheets and prepared for analysis using previously validated instruments. Finally, the project aimed to clarify user niches and their particularities, with the aim of contributing to the formulation of possible public policies for prevention and health promotion.
