PERFIL EPIDEMIOLÓGICO DOS ÓBITOS POR COVID-19 NO PERÍODO DE 2020-2024 EM RESIDENTES DE CASCAVEL-PR

O objetivo foi estudar o perfil epidemiológico e de vacinação dos pacientes que foram a óbito por COVID-19 residentes do município de Cascavel-PR. Estudo ecológico, de série temporal, realizado mediante análise dos dados de mortalidade por COVID-19 em residentes do município de Cascavel-Paraná entre 30 de março de 2020 e 31/07/2024 disponibilizados publicamente por meio dos boletins epidemiológicos da secretaria de saúde. Cascavel-PR registrou 1319 óbitos por COVID-19, sendo 186 sem comorbidades e 1133 com pelo menos uma. O sexo masculino foi o predominante representando 59,9% dos óbitos. Com e sem comorbidade, comparado com as mulheres, o sexo masculino foi o que morreu mais jovem (68,1 para 68,3 e 55,7 para 64,1 anos, respectivamente). Uma comorbidade cardiovascular esteve presente em 48,7% dos óbitos, seguido por uma condição endócrino-metabólica (26,06%), uma doença neuro-psiquiátrica em 9,26%, pulmonar em 7,39%, algum tipo de câncer em 2,98% e 2,76% apresentaram algum distúrbio renal. Comorbidades reumatológicas, hepáticas, imune, dermatológicas, hematológicas e outras somadas representaram 3,03%. Com relação aos óbitos que possuíam uma condição cardiovascular a hipertensão arterial foi a mais prevalente. Dentre as metabólicas, destaque para diabetes e obesidade. Foi possível notar que independente do tipo ou número de comorbidades associadas a maior expectativa de vida se deu naqueles pacientes com o maior número de vacinas recebidas.
