O PAPEL DAS PRÁTICAS BASEADAS EM EVIDÊNCIAS NO COMBATE AO DOPING NO ESPORTE

O artigo explora as práticas baseadas em evidências na detecção e prevenção do doping no esporte. Inicialmente, apresenta uma revisão da literatura, destacando métodos de detecção como análise de urina e sangue, e os avanços em espectrometria de massa e cromatografia líquida. Discute o impacto do doping na ética esportiva e revisita casos notórios, como os de Lance Armstrong e Marion Jones. As práticas baseadas em evidências incluem o uso de tecnologias avançadas, como o passaporte biológico, e a implementação de programas educacionais antidoping. Estudos de caso demonstram a eficácia dessas práticas, enquanto análises de big data e pesquisas longitudinais oferecem insights valiosos. O artigo também aborda desafios e limitações, como custos elevados e questões éticas. Avanços futuros incluem a aplicação de inteligência artificial e cooperação internacional. A conclusão destaca a importância da educação, cooperação e investimentos contínuos para um esporte justo e livre de doping.
