This exploratory study investigates the perceptions and practices of conscious capitalism among professionals from various sectors in Brazil, focusing on Administration 5.0, which integrates advanced technology, sustainability, and human collaboration. The research was motivated by the need to understand how these practices are perceived and implemented in the Brazilian context, and what motivations and barriers organizations face. The sample consisted of 43 professionals, conveniently selected, covering variables such as gender, age group, employment status, and sector of activity. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, specifically developed for this study, and quantitatively analyzed to identify significant patterns and correlations. The results indicate a growing awareness of conscious capitalism, with 53.49% of participants familiar with the concept. The majority of respondents (88.37%) believe that companies adopting conscious capitalism practices are more ethical. However, 46.51% of participants could not identify conscious capitalism practices in their organizations, suggesting a gap in internal communication. The main motivations for adopting these practices include a purpose beyond financial gain and the pursuit of socially beneficial impacts. The conclusions highlight the importance of humanized and ethical practices for business sustainability but also reveal challenges in the implementation and communication of these practices. Future research should expand the sample and include a greater diversity of sectors and regions for a more comprehensive understanding.
