A construção civil se tornou um dos principias setores industriais do País. Devido o seu crescimento constante a demanda em obras mais rápidas cresceu junto, trazendo consigo um grande número de edificações que apresentassem manifestações patológicas. A exigência em obras mais rápidas e baratas acabou por tornar essas patologias algo recorrente nesse setor. Essa pesquisa trouxe as manifestações patológicas mais recorrente encontradas em uma escola na cidade de Guaraí-TO, onde a mesma tem mais de 40 anos de funcionamento. A estrutura apresentava rachaduras, corrosões, mofo, entre outras patologias que poderiam causar mais danos a escola. O estudo tem como objetivo analisar as principias causas das manifestações patológicas da escola, apresentando diagnostico, prognostico e terapias que possam ser aplicadas. A metodologia do trabalho se trata em um estudo de caso, registos fotográficos da estrutura, revisão bibliográfica e coletas de dados in loco. Nesse contexto, o estudo possibilita visualizar e entender as manifestações patológicas mais recorrentes na construção civil, afim de minimizar ou evitar danos futuros nessas edificações.
