ANÁLISE EPIDEMIOLÓGICA DA HANSENÍASE NO ESTADO DO PARANÁ ENTRE 2017 E 2021
Abstract
A hanseníase é uma doença dermatoneurológica de características crônicas que ainda representa um grande agravo a saúde pública brasileira, sendo que afeta populações de diferentes idades e em diversas regiões do país. Objetivo: Caracterizar o perfil epidemiológico dos casos de hanseníase notificados no estado do Paraná entre o período de 2017 a 2021. Método: Estudo epidemiológico, descritivo, quantitativo, elaborado com base em dados secundários contidos nas fichas de coleta do Sistema de Informação Agravos de Notificação (SINAN), disponíveis na plataforma virtual DATASUS, acerca dos casos notificados de hanseníase no estado do Paraná entre os anos de 2017 e 2021. Resultados: Conforme os dados coletados, no Paraná houve maior número de casos entre homens (61,5%), raça branca (66,6%), entre 50-59 anos (24,4%), forma clínica dimorfa (45,2%) e baixa escolaridade. Conclusão: A hanseníase no Paraná acometeu principalmente a população masculina de etnia branca em idade adulta e com baixa escolaridade. Nesta perspectiva, o profissional enfermeiro é indispensável para a execução das medidas de prevenção, notificação dos casos existentes e realização correta e em tempo oportuno do processo de tratamento.
