This study analyzes the behavior of guyed telecommunications towers under wind action, structures characterized by high slenderness and flexibility. The methodology consisted of a static analysis based on the NBR 6123 standards and a dynamic analysis using the Monte Carlo formulation to simulate the fluctuating wind load. In the structural modeling, finite elements of cables and trusses with linear elastic behavior were used, comparing two mathematical models (linear and non-linear) for cable pre-tensioning. Static equilibrium was obtained via the Quasi-Newton algorithm. The results demonstrate that the joint consideration of static and dynamic actions is indispensable for the precise determination of the maximum axial forces in the tower components.
