UMA ANÁLISE DE ASPECTOS DA REPRESENTAÇÃO SEMIÓTICA EM JOGOS DIGITAIS

No ensino da matemática a representação de um objeto e a conversão dessa representação em diferentes registros (gráficos, algébricos, semióticos, etc.) são aspectos importantes para a articulação de conceitos e a construção de conhecimentos significativos, possibilitando a compreensão e a aprendizagem. Nesta perspectiva, o presente artigo tem como principal objetivo analisar e compreender como se manifesta os registros da representação semiótica em jogos digitais desenvolvidos para o ensino de matemática. Mais especificamente, indaga-se sobre os aspectos relacionados á representação semiótica, no que concerne a identificação de signos, símbolos, produção de significados e contribuições para a compreensão de conceitos matemáticos. Para tanto, buscar-se entendimento na teoria da representação do registro semiótico dos objetos matemáticos do filósofo e psicólogo francês Raymond Duval, que defende o acesso aos objetos matemáticos passando necessariamente por representação semiótica. São também considerados relevantes neste estudo os conceitos da semiótica peirciana, do filósofo Charles Sanders Peirce, no intuito de entender a relação entre signo, objeto e produção de significado. Além disso, foi realizada uma análise no jogo “Enigma das Frações” à Luz da Teoria do Registro da Representação Semiótica. Os resultados indicam que a ludicidade, a interatividade, o raciocínio lógico, dentre outros aspectos presentes nos jogos digitais possibilitam a conversão das representações de objetos matemáticos em diferentes registros, propiciando a construção do conhecimento significativo.
