Continuous teacher education is a prominent theme in public education policies, both nationally and regionally. Specifically, for the state of Goiás, the offer of full-time education through the Full and Integral Education Program seeks to promote in-person and online continuing education meetings for its teachers, aiming to continuously improve the quality of state public education. From this perspective, the present work aimed to provide a report of the experience gained in the Elective component workshop, which was part of a continuing education course for teachers working in the Full-Time Education Centers in the state of Goiás. The training took place during the 2022 academic year with around 600 participating teachers. The teachers were divided into groups and attended pedagogical workshops of each component of the curricular integration, a pedagogical axis offered specifically in the Full-Time Education Centers. In the Electives workshop, it was possible to observe that the teachers understood the component's proposal and had the opportunity to broaden their perception and development possibilities of this component through the proposed activities and peer sharing. In this context, the importance, necessity, and continuity of the Goiás Department of Education's role, through the Full and Integral Education Program, as a promoter and creator of formative moments with network teachers, considering their professional reality, are highlighted.
