A música é um recurso pedagógico amplamente reconhecido por sua capacidade de promover o
desenvolvimento integral das crianças, favorecendo habilidades cognitivas, emocionais, sociais e
motoras. Diante disso, o estudo busca responder de que forma a musicalidade das cantigas
populares pode influenciar a atenção e o engajamento dos alunos nos anos iniciais, ao mesmo
tempo em que promove a alfabetização e o resgate da cultura popular. O objetivo geral é analisar
esse papel da música no processo educativo, identificando estratégias pedagógicas,
compreendendo benefícios e desafios, e ressaltando sua contribuição para a valorização cultural.
A pesquisa adota como metodologia a revisão bibliográfica, fundamentada em referenciais teóricos
e documentos oficiais sobre musicalização, alfabetização e cultura popular, discutindo suas
implicações pedagógicas e socioculturais. Conclui-se que o contato com a música desde a infância.
é essencial, pois amplia o processo formativo, fortalece a identidade cultural e promove maior
compreensão das relações sociais. A valorização de diferentes manifestações musicais – sejam
elas eruditas ou populares – enriquece a formação do indivíduo e contribui para a construção de
valores e sensibilidades.
