OS BENEFÍCIOS DA CARBOXITERAPIA NO TRATAMENTO DE LIPODISTROGIA GINÓIDE

A carboxiterapia consiste na administração de gás carbônico, em uma injeção hipodérmica, uma técnica invasiva que teve início na França nos anos 30. Tal método é amplamente utilizado em procedimentos estéticos com vários fins, como flacidez, fibroedema geloide, lipodistrofia ginoide, gordura localizada, pré e pós-operatório e cicatrizes atróficas. A lipodistrofia ginoide é uma afecção exclusiva do sexo feminino pelas características anatômicas da hipoderme em função de na mulher os lóbulos serem maiores e com septos paralelos, enquanto no homem os septos fibrosos são menores e arranjados em planos oblíquos com pequenos lóbulos de gordura. Ela acomete cerca de 90 a 95% as mulheres em sua totalidade enquanto os homens chegam de 5 a 10% dos restantes. A carboxiterapia atua na lipodistrofia ginoide com a recuperação do tecido lesado, obstruído devido a retenção de líquidos, adipócitos hipertrofiados e toxinas não eliminadas. Este artigo teve como objetivo explanar sobre a eficácia da carboxiterapia no tratamento da Lipodistrofia ginoide.
