Análise de Patologias no Pavimento Flexível da BR116 Trecho Sudeste: Teófilo Otoni – Itambacuri (Minas Gerais / Brasil)

A rodovia longitudinal brasileira – BR116, além de ser uma das mais movimentadas do país, é também uma das mais importantes, pois liga o Nordeste ao extremo Sul do Brasil. O trecho analisado foi o Sudeste (denominado Rodovia Santos Dumont), entre as cidades de Teófilo Otoni – MG e Itambacuri – MG. Com extensão de 30 km e em alguns segmentos com duas faixas em cada sentido, o trecho apresenta diversas patologias no pavimento flexível. Este trabalho, embasado majoritariamente pela norma DNIT 005/2003 – TER, identifica e cataloga estas patologias, através de levantamentos fotográficos e análises in loco. Foi possível, devido aos procedimentos utilizados, verificar que a maioria das patologias encontram-se em segmentos com inclinação ou próximos a zonas urbanas, onde as forças de frenagem e aceleração de veículos pesados são mais frequentes. Trincas, remendos e afundamentos, são apenas alguns dos problemas mais encontrados no trecho, muitos estes em estado avançado e com dimensões desmoderadas, sendo visível o dano estrutural no pavimento flexível. Infere-se que o desconforto e a perturbação da dirigibilidade dos veículos, são notórios, colocando assim em risco o trafego fluente e principalmente a segurança dos usuários da rodovia.
