A INCIDÊNCIA DE CASOS DA TUBERCULOSE EM RIO VERDE:
comparativo de 2019 e 2020

A Tuberculose em si, ainda é um grande desafio a ser combatido em todo o país, determinada
pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) como um agravo de alto impacto na saúde pública. É
considerada uma das 10 principais causas de morte no mundo. No Brasil são registradas cerca de
4,5 mil mortes pela doença por ano. Apesar de ter cura, muitas pessoas não procuram o
tratamento ou então abandonam antes da conclusão. Em Rio Verde tem o CAT/PCHT que é o
centro especializado que faz a testagem do bacilo, fornece todo o tratamento e orienta o paciente
no que deve ser feito. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é comparar o a incidência de casos da
tuberculose em Rio Verde nos anos de 2019 e 2020, o antes e durante a pandemia, evidenciar a
importância da assistência básica e avaliar os resultados obtidos com o protocolo de
acompanhamento. Com isso, compreenda-se que de acordo com a pesquisa aos prontuários.
Depreende que em relação aos dois anos houve um aumento de 3 casos em 2020, como também,
mais 3 óbitos. Pelos dados colhidos no CTA/PCHT (2021). Com a chegada da pandemia em Rio
Verde, não interferiu nos diagnósticos da tuberculose. Pacientes com lesões tuberculosas
mostradas através da tomografia são encaminhados para o centro de tratamento, onde fazem o
exame de escarro ou de baciloscopia, este exame faz uma análise direta da secreção excretada
pelos pulmões.
