A (IN)EFICÁCIA DA LEI DA MARIA DA PENHA FRENTE AO CRESCIMENTO DA VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA EM RAZÃO DO ISOLAMENTO SOCIAL DO COVID-19

O presente artigo científico tem por finalidade questionar a eficácia da Lei Maria da Penha, tendo em vista o crescimento da violência doméstica frente ao isolamento social causado pela pandemia na do Covid-19, com apontamentos sobre a figura da mulher na sociedade e a evolução legislativa acerca de seus direitos, bem como, demonstra um breve relato sobre a violência de gênero e o conceito de violência doméstica. Com a análise de doutrinas, jurisprudências e índices de pesquisa social, almeja demonstrar que a violência contra as mulheres tem crescido continuamente nos lares brasileiros e apontar as principais causas e circunstâncias, além de evidenciar que a dignidade da pessoa humana é principal instituto que está sendo violado enquanto deveria ser o primeiro a ser protegido, por se tratar de direito fundamental básico e essencial para a sobrevivência e subsistência de todas as mulheres.
