PERCEPÇÃO DOS ALUNOS DO COLÉGIO ESTADUAL PROFESSORA JANE ASSIS PEIXOTO SOBRE COBRAS CORAIS

Os estudos de percepção, sentimentos que mediam as relações entre ser humano com os aspectos ecológico e/ou biológico dos animais, denomina-se como etnozoologia. Na natureza, vários animais usam distintas estratégias para predar ou escapar do predador, caso que acontece com as cobras corais. Tendo em vista esta semelhança entre as cobras corais, os acidentes com esses podem ser graves. Diante desse contexto, faz-se necessário averiguar o conhecimento dos alunos do Colégio Estadual Professora Jane Assis Peixoto sobre as cobras corais, partindo do pressuposto que existem estudantes que moram em áreas rurais com maior índice de aparecimento de cobras. Contudo, o trabalho buscou analisar a percepção dos estudantes do Ensino Médio sobre a identificação de diferentes cobras corais, além de criar um material didático para auxiliar os alunos a identificar estes animais. A pesquisa realizada demonstrou que os alunos necessitam de mais informações, orientações sobre a identificação e o que fazer caso seja mordido por cobras. O conhecimento de diversos temas do ramo ciências da natureza que dialoguem com a realidade dos alunos é de suma importância, inclusive de estudantes que vivem em área rural que frequentemente se deparam com animais peçonhentos, por exemplo, as serpentes. Sobre os benefícios das cobras, os alunos da zona urbana destacaram a importânciavoltada à questão médica e ecológica. Não foi encontrada riqueza no conhecimento sobre os benefícios das cobras na percepção dos alunos da zona rural, aqueles que responderam, se resumem a questão médica, não tendo muita informação sobre outras relevâncias. Pode-se observar que houve uma diferença entre o conhecimento dos alunos da zona rural com alunos da zona urbana, sendo este último com mais informações coerentes com a literatura científica. Com o intuito de contribuir para uma melhor aprendizagem dos estudantes, este trabalho buscou realizar uma cartilha de identificação e orientação. Possibilitando, através desta abordagem, incentivá-los a compreender e propagar este conhecimento para os colegas, familiares e circunvizinhos de sua comunidade.
