ANÁLISE DE INDICADORES SOBRE INTOXICAÇÃO EXÓGENA POR SOLVENTES VOLÁTEIS NO ESTADO DO PARANÁ

Os solventes voláteis são grupos de substâncias de fácil acesso que fazem parte do dia-a-dia. Quando atingem os alvéolos pulmonares e caem na circulação causam sensações de bem-estar, euforia, déficit neuromuscular, alucinações visuais e muitos outros sintomas. A inalação e consequente intoxicação pode-se dar em diversos cenários, seja ocupacional, acidental ou recreativa, trazendo graves consequências a comunidade. Neste contexto, avaliar a epidemiologia e o nível de conhecimento destes usuários é fundamental para que medidas de saúde pública sejam tomadas. Este projeto se desenvolveu como um estudo ecológico observacional descritivo. O instrumento de coleta de informações foi por meio de banco de dados de domínio público. As informações foram compiladas com o uso de planilhas e dispostas à análise a partir de instrumentos previamente validados. Por fim, o projeto teve como objetivo esclarecer nichos de usuários e suas particularidades, com intuito de contribuir para formulação de possíveis políticas públicas de prevenção e promoção de saúde.
