INFLUENCIA DEL CICLO LUNAR EN EL NACIMIENTO Y EL SEXO DE LOS POTROS

La creencia de que las fases lunares influyen en diferentes aspectos de la vida animal y vegetal es una antigua tradición que persiste en la cultura popular. En el contexto de la cría de caballos, muchos criadores creen que la luna desempeña un papel importante en el momento del nacimiento de los potros. Este artículo demuestra la influencia de la luna en el nacimiento de 143 potros de cuatro ganaderías diferentes en la región del Valle de Paraíba, en el estado de São Paulo, en las ciudades de Taubaté y Pindamonhangaba. También demuestra la influencia de la luna en el sexo de los potros, analizando la evidencia que apoya o refuta esta creencia.
