INTERVENÇÕES DE ENFERMAGEM NO CUIDADO A PACIENTES COM ARTRITE REUMATOIDE: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Em pacientes com artrite reumatoide, um distúrbio inflamatório crônico com alta capacidade debilitante, os enfermeiros são considerados essenciais não apenas no manejo da dor e da segurança farmacológica, mas também para promover o autocuidado e a tomada de decisões. Este estudo objetiva analisar, a partir da literatura, as intervenções nos cuidados de enfermagem aplicadas a pacientes adultos diagnosticados com artrite reumatoide e verificar as intervenções mais eficazes para esses pacientes. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, com buscas nas bases de dados: ScienceDirect, MAG Online Library, PubMed, SciELO, LILACS e Google Acadêmico; utilizando os termos “Artrite Reumatoide”, “Enfermagem”, “Cuidados de Enfermagem” e “Intervenções de Enfermagem” no DeCS e “Rheumatoid Arthritis”, “Nursing”, “Nursing Care” e “Nursing Intervention” no MeSH, com o uso do operador AND. Foram incluídos artigos publicados nos últimos 10 anos, em português, inglês/espanhol; excluídos as revisão, resumos, anais, teses, dissertações, artigos não compatíveis com a temática e com público menor de 18 anos. Dos 35.344 trabalhos, 15 foram selecionados. Foi encontrado melhora significativa no autocontrole da atividade da doença (três estudos), controle e diminuição do estresse psicológico (três estudos), uso de terapias complementares (três estudos) e atendimento por telessaúde (três estudos) no manejo conduzido por enfermeiros a pacientes com artrite reumatoide estabelecida. Embora existam evidências na melhoria da saúde mental e no autocuidado, parece haver uma tendência para melhorar outros desfechos, como a dor e sono, uso de terapias complementares e com as novas tecnologias, o atendimento do enfermeiro por meio de consultas virtuais. Este estudo sugere que as intervenções de enfermagem favorecem a melhora na saúde mental e no autocuidado, diminuem os escores da dor, sono afetado e atividade da doença em pacientes adultos com artrite reumatoide. Esta revisão reforça a necessidade da realização de mais estudos explorando o cuidado da enfermagem com esse público.
