Abstract

A construção offsite ou construção industrial são termos para intitular a construção modular. A tradução de offsite “fora do local de construção” traduz também a metodologia da construção modular. Esta é uma técnica construtiva que antepõe a ideia de obra “limpa”. Dessa forma, se mostra um processo econômico e ágil, propiciando a redução de até mesmo metade do tempo de entrega de uma edificação, se comparada a uma construção na qual se utiliza a alvenaria tradicional. Posto isso, a fim de impulsionar a racionalização atribuída ao cenário da construção civil, esse artigo tem como principal finalidade a análise de alternativas modulares que a industrialização proporciona ao setor construtivo, com o propósito do aprimoramento da mesma. Paralelo a isso, identificar e descrever a viabilidade dessas alternativas, seu histórico advindo da revolução industrial e apresentar onde tal metodologia vem sendo aplicada.
