UM ESTUDO SOBRE AS COTAS RACIAIS EM CONCURSOS PÚBLICOS

O sistema de cotas garante igualdade de acesso às oportunidades para estudantes de todas as classes socioeconômicas. Este artigo objetivou caracterizar a implementação da política de cotas raciais em concursos públicos, instituída no Brasil por meio da Lei Federal n. 12.990/2014, que reservou 20% das vagas em certames públicos para pessoas negras, depois de detalhar as lacunas no processo de implementação da referida política pública, o artigo sugere um conjunto de medidas para que mais pessoas negras acessem os cargos públicos e, portanto, contribuam com a necessária e urgente luta antirracista no Brasil. A abordagem do tratamento da coleta de dados do artigo será qualitativa, pois busca fonte direta para coleta de dados, interpretação de fenômenos e atribuição de significados onde a importância da implementação das cotas raciais em concursos públicos e busca entender o por que essa ideia não é aceitável para algumas pessoas.
