The article discusses the import logistics of Bragato Sports, an online store selling sporting goods and fashion. The company opted for a strategic partnership with China for its fashion imports, capitalizing on the quality and competitive prices offered by the Chinese industry. Import logistics plays a vital role in a company's success, coordinating complex processes such as international transportation, customs clearance and inventory management.
The literature review highlights the importance of logistics in managing business operations. Inventory management and choosing the appropriate mode of transport are essential to meet the seasonality of demand and optimize logistics time. Technology plays an increasingly crucial role in logistics, enabling efficiency and savings through itinerary optimization, real-time tracking and predictive analytics.
The import process involves customs clearance and national transport, in which the Post Office plays an essential role. The research focuses on Bragato Sports' import logistics and provides insights into how it works, highlighting the importance of an effective import system.
The study suggests possible improvements, such as creating a website to facilitate customer orders, considering a physical location for the store and evaluating the use of water transport to reduce costs on certain orders.
In conclusion, the article provides a detailed overview of Bragato Sports' import logistics, identifying its practices and pointing out areas for potential improvement. This information can be valuable for other micro-entrepreneurs who wish to internationalize their businesses through imports.
