EFICÁCIA DE UM PROTOCOLO DE TRATAMENTO FISIOTERAPÊUTICO INDIVIDUALIZADO NO TRATAMENTO DA ESPONDILOARTROSE EM UMA PACIENTE IDOSA: Relato de Caso

espondiloartrose é uma condição degenerativa comum em idosos, frequentemente associada à lombalgia e à redução da funcionalidade. Este estudo apresenta o relato de caso de uma paciente de 66 anos submetida a um protocolo fisioterapêutico individualizado, com o objetivo de reduzir dor, recuperar mobilidade e melhorar força muscular. A metodologia envolveu avaliação inicial completa, aplicação de termoterapia, liberação miofascial, mobilizações articulares, alongamentos e posterior progressão para exercícios ativos. Os resultados demonstraram melhora significativa da dor (EVA 3), aumento de amplitude de movimento e força, normalização postural progressiva e ausência de pontos gatilho. Testes específicos antes positivos tornaram-se negativos, indicando redução da irritabilidade articular. A discussão ressalta a importância de condutas personalizadas, que respeitam limitações e potencialidades individuais, promovendo evolução segura e funcional. Conclui-se que o protocolo adotado foi eficaz para restaurar a funcionalidade, reduzir sintomas e favorecer a autonomia, destacando o papel essencial da fisioterapia no envelhecimento saudável.
