LIFE PROJECT AS A GOVERNANCE STRATEGY IN THE NEW HIGH SCHOOL CURRICULUM

La Ley n.º 13.415, de 16 de febrero de 2017, conocida como «Nueva Enseñanza Secundaria», promovió una reformulación de la organización de esta etapa de la Educación Básica en Brasil. El plan de estudios pasó a estructurarse en dos partes: la Base Nacional Común Curricular (BNCC), con contenidos obligatorios, y los Itinerarios Formativos, que permiten a los estudiantes elegir áreas de interés alineadas con sus proyectos profesionales. En este contexto, surgieron dudas y desafíos, principalmente entre los estudiantes, lo que exigió que las escuelas se reorganizaran para ofrecer itinerarios formativos de acuerdo con sus condiciones estructurales y pedagógicas. Así, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los discursos producidos por los estudiantes en el ámbito del componente Proyecto de Vida, incluido en la política de la Nueva Educación Secundaria, tomando como referencia analítica la teoría de la gubernamentalidad de Michel Foucault. La investigación adoptó un enfoque cualitativo, realizado mediante un cuestionario aplicado a través de Google Forms, en el segundo semestre de 2024, en el que participaron 385 estudiantes de secundaria, que compartieron sus percepciones sobre la Nueva Enseñanza Secundaria y sus Itinerarios Formativos. Así, la investigación involucró a cuatro escuelas públicas diferentes, ubicadas en tres municipios de Espírito Santo: Linhares, Colatina y Aracruz. Los resultados indican que, aunque los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de tomar decisiones, se observa cómo el poder se organiza para orientar sus conductas. Se trata de una estrategia que se manifiesta a través de instituciones, conocimientos y tácticas, orientando a los estudiantes a autogobernarse según la lógica del poder. Esta lógica se expresa en los efectos producidos por las instituciones, con énfasis en la gestión de la vida y la sociedad, buscando el control y el mantenimiento del orden social.
