THE DISCUSSION ON RACIAL QUOTA POLICIES: AN ANALYSIS IN DEFENSE OF THEIR NECESSITY AND RESULTS

This research carries out a critical analysis of the arguments in favor of quota policies, with the aim of understanding their necessity and evaluating their efficiency in promoting equal opportunities and reducing social disparities. To achieve this goal, a systematic literature review was conducted, covering academic studies, scientific articles and official documents on the subject. Data collection involved the analysis of government reports and opinion polls carried out on social networks with academics. The data was subjected to a qualitative analysis, highlighting relevant patterns and trends. The results indicate that quota policies play a key role in promoting equity and diversity, although they face challenges in implementation. It is concluded that a favorable analysis of quota policies is crucial to address historical inequalities and promote a more inclusive and just society.
