This article is a result of the actions developed by the Center for Training, Extension, Innovation, and Research in Education, Leisure, and Health (CEPELS), originating from a supervised internship experience in Middle School. The study aims to report and reflect on Physical Education practices focused on motor and social development, using leisure, games, and play as the central pillars of pedagogical strategies. The intervention was carried out in a public-school during September and October, through dynamic and inclusive classes planned by the center's internship team. Methodologically, the research is characterized as a qualitative and descriptive study, based on systematic observations, reflective records, and analysis of the teaching practice. The results indicate that playfulness, as an educational tool, enhances cooperation, socialization, emotional balance, and motor skills, fostering the appropriation of social rules and values. It was evidenced that leisure, when approached intentionally and planned, constitutes an effective means of teaching-learning, bringing students closer to body practices in a meaningful way. It is concluded that the experiences not only boosted the students' development but also consolidated the professional training of CEPELS interns and researchers, reaffirming Physical Education as an essential component in the integral formation of the human being. It is concluded that the experiences lived during the internship contributed not only to the growth and development of the students but also to the professional formation of the interns, reinforcing the role of Physical Education as an essential area in the integral formation of the human being.
