HUMANIZAÇÃO E CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM NA SAÚDE DA PESSOA IDOSA

Este estudo explorou a importância da enfermagem para a saúde e a vida humana e trouxe contribuições relevantes para o papel do enfermeiro no processo de envelhecimento. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a eficácia dos processos humanizados e de enfermagem para a saúde do idoso na perspectiva da revisão da literatura. O método utilizado neste estudo é um estudo descritivo, que visa responder se há humanização e cuidado efetivos com a saúde do idoso. O enfermeiro deve estar apto a contribuir para a efetivação dos direitos da enfermagem da equipe de enfermagem e da pessoa idosa, e influenciar na formulação e implementação de políticas públicas voltadas à humanização e à resolutividade da enfermagem.Os estudos revelam que o cuidado de enfermagem é indispensável na terceira idade, pois se trata de uma população que gera demanda de atenção em saúde maior que as demais faixas etárias, e o profissional da enfermagem é o principal responsável por promover ações de cuidado a este usuário, tendo assim papel fundamental em ofertar a assistência de forma humana. Mesmo com a previsão da Política Nacional de Saúde da Pessoa Idosa em relação à saúde e à assistência, os obstáculos impedem a efetivação dos cuidados humanizados às pessoas com idade avançada.
