The objective was to describe the use of foliar fertilization for soybean crops, which consists of providing nutrients in the correct dosage and at the ideal time that the cultivar needs, be it the most demanding or least demanding (macro nutrients and micronutrients). It is a technique that is currently being used to gain production or even in an attempt to avoid losses caused by unexpected factors during its development. Its use is an important factor, but it does not replace conventional fertilization via the root system, it acts as a complement in the supply of nutrients via the leaf that the plant needs in its current situation.
