The article discusses the growing use of drones in the construction industry as a solution for improving safety on the job site and optimizing site inspections. Initially, it highlights the significant role of construction in urban development, but also the challenges faced, such as high rates of accidents at work. The literature review reveals advances in the use of drones, replacing traditional tasks such as mapping, safety inspection and construction site monitoring. Drones offer a detailed view of structures, allowing early identification of problems and proactive correction of faults. However, environmental impacts are mentioned, including noise pollution and gas emissions. Sustainable measures are proposed to mitigate these negative effects. In short, drones are recognized as a promising tool for ensuring safer and more efficient working environments in the construction industry. However, the importance of updated regulations to ensure their responsible and ethical use is emphasized. These conclusions highlight the need to consider not only the operational benefits of drones, but also the social and environmental impacts associated with their implementation in the construction industry, aiming for a balanced and sustainable approach for the sector.
