Abstract

A poluição sonora, caracterizada pela emissão de sons não harmônicos, denominados ruídos, afeta diretamente o comportamento humano o que, consequentemente, influencia no meio ambiente ao seu redor. Assim, a legislação pátria, abordou este tema sob diversos aspectos, dentre eles o direito ao sossego que está intrínseco nos direitos da personalidade, que objetivam manter a dignidade do ser humano. Dessa forma, o presente artigo, objetiva abordar as causas da poluição sonora, os efeitos gerados na saúde e bem-estar dos seres humanos e, consequentemente a tutela jurídica aplicada a este caso.
