The constant exchange of information on social networks has increasingly narrowed social circles, affecting all generations to come, so young people and children are exposed every day on digital platforms. The aim of this research is to find out what impacts such exposure has on the lives of children, as well as addressing the principle of integral protection, as laid down in the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA). It will also address the practice of sharenting, a term used to define the excessive act of parents or other responsible adults posting and sharing images and personal information about their children on social networks. Nowadays, this practice has become recurrent and is seen as one of the possible professions of the future, since the advertising market focuses on numbers and views. However, it should be noted that such practices violate the principle of integral protection, since it exposes the understanding that children under 18 are at a stage of biological, psychological and social development, i.e. they are more susceptible to abuse and violations of their rights, such as the right to protection of privacy, intimacy, honor and image. In view of this, the study of this topic is extremely relevant to the current scenario, since it is necessary to build a comprehensive understanding of the practice of sharenting.
