TRANSTORNOS MENTAIS PREVALENTES NOS PROFISSIONAIS DE ENFERMAGEM

O estudo investiga os transtornos mentais prevalentes entre profissionais de enfermagem, destacando condições como depressão, ansiedade e síndrome de burnout, frequentemente associadas a fatores como longas jornadas de trabalho, privação de sono e altos níveis de estresse. Durante a pandemia de COVID-19, esses problemas foram agravados devido à sobrecarga de trabalho e ao contato constante com situações de sofrimento humano. A pesquisa, baseada em uma revisão bibliográfica, aponta que tais transtornos não apenas comprometem a saúde dos profissionais, mas também afetam a qualidade do cuidado aos pacientes. Destaca-se o uso de substâncias psicoativas como mecanismo de enfrentamento e a importância de estratégias preventivas, incluindo práticas de autocuidado, apoio psicológico e condições laborais adequadas. O trabalho conclui que abordar os problemas de saúde mental é essencial para garantir o bem-estar dos enfermeiros e a sustentabilidade do sistema de saúde, abrindo espaço para futuras pesquisas e melhorias no ambiente de trabalho.
