EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE NA CONTRACEPÇÃO E INFECÇÕES SEXUALMENTE TRANSMISSÍVEIS

Health education plays a fundamental role in promoting knowledge and adherence to contraceptive methods, contributing to the sexual and reproductive health of women and young people. Through a literature review, studies addressing educational strategies applied by nurses were selected, highlighting their effectiveness in reducing unplanned pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The results indicate that educational interventions increase knowledge about contraception and promote informed method selection, reinforcing the role of nursing in health education.
