O texto ilustra de forma simples as metodologias de História de Vida, História Oral e Pesquisa-Ação, destacando suas contribuições para uma pesquisa qualitativa. A História de Vida se concentra na experiência individual como um ponto de partida para compreender processos sociais mais amplos, enquanto a História Oral permite capturar memórias para relatar eventos específicos. A Pesquisa-Ação, por sua vez, visa a transformação social a partir da colaboração entre pesquisadores e participantes, por meio de uma ação. O artigo busca analisar como essas metodologias podem auxiliar em pesquisas sociais e mostra como elas podem ser escolhidas e como elas dialogam entre si, promovendo assim uma imagem ampliada e reflexiva sobre as técnicas.
