EFEITOS DO TRANEXÂMICO E DE COMPOSTOS BIOATIVOS NO TRATAMENTO DO MELASMA: UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA

O melasma é uma hiperpigmentação da pele causada pela produção excessiva de
melanina, afetando principalmente o rosto de mulheres, especialmente na menopausa e com
fototipos III e IV. Está relacionado a fatores genéticos, hormonais, exposição solar, estresse
oxidativo e poluição. A condição se manifesta por manchas acastanhadas com bordas
irregulares, e embora tenha tratamento, não possui cura. O tipo centrofacial é o mais comum
no Brasil. O problema impacta a autoestima e a qualidade de vida, estimulando a busca por
terapias eficazes como o ácido tranexâmico e compostos bioativos. Objetivo: Analisar o
efeito do tranexâmico e de compostos bio ativos no tratamento do melasma. Metodologia:
Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico,
National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS). Foram incluídos
artigos completos, gratuitos, em português e inglês, publicados entre 2015 e 2025, que
abordassem os efeitos do ácido tranexâmico e de compostos bioativos no tratamento do
melasma. Foram excluídos artigos incompletos, duplicados, de revisão bibliográfica, fora do
período estipulado ou que não tratassem diretamente do tema ou não respondessem ao
objetivo da pesquisa. Resultados: Realizou-se a identificação dos dados científicos baseados
nos critérios de exclusão e inclusão de artigos, e a observação dos resumos e títulos, foram
selecionados ao final da triagem 4 artigos para análise e execução da revisão. Conclusão:
Esta pesquisa conclui-se que o ácido tranexâmico e compostos bioativos demonstra ser
efetivo e seguro no tratamento do melasma, aperfeiçoando a tenacidade cutânea, o aspecto da
pele, o clareamento e a desinflamação. A individualização dos procedimentos, é
imprescindível para o aprimoramento de resultâncias e atenuar os prováveis efeitos adversos.
