EFEITOS DO PROTOCOLO FISIOTERAPÊUTICO INDIVIDUALIZADO NO TRATAMENTO DE GONARTROSE BILATERAL: Relato de Caso

A Gonartrose Bilateral é uma condição degenerativa que resulta em dor intensa, rigidez e limitação
funcional que acaba impactando significativamente a qualidade de vida. O estudo apresenta o caso
de uma paciente de 65 anos com artrose severa bilateral, múltiplas comorbidades e importante
prejuízo nas atividades diárias. A avaliação fisioterapêutica identificou dor elevada, rigidez, hipotrofia
muscular, marcha claudicante e limitação de amplitude de movimento. Com base nisso, foi
implementado um plano terapêutico individualizado composto por alongamentos, mobilização
articular, fortalecimento progressivo, treino funcional e recursos analgésicos. Na reavaliação,
observou-se melhora expressiva da dor, do arco de movimento, da força muscular e da
funcionalidade. O caso reforça a importância da fisioterapia como intervenção central no manejo da
artrose bilateral de joelhos.
