ANÁLISE MICROBIOLÓGICA DOS AMBIENTES DAS SALAS DE OBSERVAÇÃO DE UM HOSPITAL NO VALE DO MUCURI - MG

A incidência de infecções hospitalares é cada vez mais danoso para a rotina de atendimento hospitalares. No Brasil, estima-se que a infecção hospitalar seja a quarta causa de morte no país, perdendo apenas para as cardiopatias, gastroenterites e neoplasias e que de 05 a 15% dos pacientes internados contraem alguma infecção. Diante disso, foi prosposto estabelecer um inquérito microbiológico sobre a incidência de infecção hospitalar em um hospital do vale do Mucurí. Os resultados apresentaram um alto índice de contaminação hospitalar, principalmente pelo microrganismo Staphylococcus aureus. O local que apresentou maior índice de contaminação foram os banheiros e considerou-se o álcool 70% o desinfectante de maior eficácia. Portanto, é necessário intensificar as ferramentas de controle de infecções para minimizar os riscos aos pacientes internados em ambientes hospitalares.
