EFEITOS DA PRÁTICA DA IKEBANA NA AUTORREGULAÇÃO EMOCIONAL, COGNIÇÃO E EXPERIÊNCIA PERCEPTIVA À LUZ DOS PRINCÍPIOS DA NEUROCIÊNCIA

Este estudo investiga os efeitos da prática da Ikebana no cérebro à luz dos princípios da neurociência, com ênfase na autorregulação emocional, nos processos cognitivos e na experiência perceptiva, buscando evidenciar seu potencial para a promoção do bem-estar humano. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza teórica, desenvolvida por meio de revisão sistemática da literatura (RSL), realizada em bases indexadas como Portal de Periódicos CAPES, Scopus e Google Acadêmico, sem recorte temporal, considerando a escassez de estudos específicos sobre o tema. Foram incluídos trabalhos que abordam a prática, contemplação ou ensino da Ikebana com implicações cognitivas, emocionais, psicofisiológicas e comportamentais. Os resultados indicam que a prática está associada à redução da ansiedade, à modulação do sistema nervoso autônomo, ao aumento de estados afetivos positivos e à melhoria da atenção, concentração e flexibilidade cognitiva. Observa-se também a alternância entre estados de foco e relaxamento, bem como o desenvolvimento da percepção estética e da integração sensorial. Os achados foram organizados em três eixos analíticos: regulação emocional e autonômica, processos cognitivos e atencionais, e percepção estética e integração sensorial. Conclui-se que a Ikebana se configura como uma prática integradora, capaz de promover equilíbrio neurofuncional e atuar como estratégia autorreguladora emocional, contribuindo para a saúde mental e a qualidade de vida. Entretanto, destaca-se a necessidade de aprofundamento das pesquisas com métodos de neuroimagem e delineamentos experimentais mais rigorosos, a fim de consolidar evidências sobre seus efeitos no cérebro e ampliar suas aplicações nos campos do design, da saúde e da educação.
