ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NA AUDITORIA HOSPITALAR E SUAS VANTAGENS PARA UMA MAIOR SEGURANÇA DO PACIENTE

Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de caráter retrospectivo com abordagem qualitativa, através de uma revisão bibliográfica, que teve como objetivo principal, evidenciar como o Enfermeiro Auditor Hospitalar pode corroborar no processo para maior segurança ao paciente. A auditoria hospitalar por parte do enfermeiro, como qualquer outra auditoria, trata-se de uma ferramenta capaz de identificar falhas, monitorar e estabelecer a necessidade de mudanças, para melhor atendimento ao cliente. Quando relacionado à segurança do paciente o Enfermeiro Auditor poderá através de uma análise e observação criteriosa apresentar medidas e estratégias com intuito de minimizar a ocorrência de incidentes, que possam levar a danos evitáveis a saúde do paciente. Através deste estudo observou-se que os principais erros e falhas encontrados pelo enfermeiro auditor, está nas anotações e registros no prontuário, por parte da equipe de enfermagem. Portanto o enfermeiro atuando na auditoria hospitalar terá a possibilidade de detectar precocemente os riscos e eventos adversos que por ventura o paciente possa está exposto, facilitando assim a tomada de medidas a fim de melhorias contínuas na assistência, promovendo a maior segurança do paciente.
