CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM NA PREVENÇÃO DA OBESIDADE INFANTIL FRENTE AO NOVO CORONAVÍRUS (COVID-19)

Um dos problemas evidenciados na contemporaneidade é o aumento da obesidade infantil adjunto à conjuntura da pandemia da coronavirus disease ou COVID-19. Conforme a Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria (2020), o novo Coronavírus descoberto em dezembro de 2019 na China, alastrou-se por todo o mundo, sendo considerado pandemia em março de 2020 titularizado por “COVID 19” pela Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS). Mediante o ocorrido o estado determinou o isolamento social como uma das formas de conter a “COVID-19. Em consequência a essa medida despontou um índice elevado de obesidade infantil, um importante problema de saúde pública. Deste modo entendeu-se relevante pesquisar sobre esse tema, porque Segundo Silva (2021), em 2020 foram estudadas 14.558 crianças brasileiras, menores de cinco anos, ao que revelou que 7% dessas, menores de cinco anos, estão com excesso de peso e 3% estão obesas. Diante disso, estababeleceu-se como objetivo geral descrever os cuidados de enfermagem que são essenciais para prevenir a obesidade infantil no Brasil resultante do período da pandemia da COVID-19. Para alcançar este objetivo optou-se por uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, explicativo fundamentada em uma revisão de bibliografias. Para tanto foi realizado estudos sobre os conceitos e teorias referente ao tema abordado, utilizandose documentos, livros, artigos científicos, revistas e trabalhos acadêmicos.
