IMPORTÂNCIA DA ORIENTAÇÃO DO FARMACÊUTICO NO USO DA CONTRACEPÇÃO DE EMERGÊNCIA

A prevenção da gravidez continua a ser uma parte importante da prática da medicina. A contracepção pode ocorrer em diversos pontos durante o processo biológico reprodutivo básico e através de várias opções de produtos contraceptivos. A contracepção de emergência refere-se a métodos anticoncepcionais que podem ser usados para evitar uma possivel gravidez após a relação sexual. O presente artigo, analisou através de uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva em sites a importância da orientação do farmacêutico no uso da contracepção de emergência. Para resolver essa barreira, as farmácias podem exibir sinalização no corredor de planejamento familiar com mensagens que incentivam a comunicação entre o consumidor e o farmacêutico. Deve ser destacado o papel do farmacêutico como educador em saúde, fornecendo informações sobre como se previnir de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, o uso adequado de métodos de barreira ou as diferentes opções contraceptivas existentes e seu grau de eficácia, para citar algumas questões relacionadas à o tema em mãos.
