Vivências de Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras em Direção aos Seringais da Amazônia – (1940 -1950)

Buscamos investigar o trajeto desses trabalhadores e trabalhadoras até os seringais do Amazônia, através da análise de fontes orais e oficiais, identificamos como as viagens para os seringais era precária, tanto por conta de lotação nos transportes, como por problemas de doenças. Também buscamos compreender como enfrentaram dificuldades ao chegar nas cidades onde existiam hospedarias, antes de irem efetivamente trabalhar nos seringais em regiões do Amazonas, discutindo assim como as políticas que visavam organizar e atrair esses trabalhadores para a região Norte, não funcionou efetivamente como deveria segundo os seus projetos, contratos e sobretudo propagandas de ocupação da Amazônia e atração de mão obra para a região.
