A IDENTIFICAÇÃO PRECOCE DE CÂNCER DE COLO DE ÚTERO NA ATENÇÃO PRIMÁRIA A SAÚDE:
UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA

Analisar o padrão dos principais exames diagnósticos que possibilitam o rastreamento do câncer de colo de útero na Atenção Primária a Saúde (APS), relacionando com a idade. A abordagem metodológica deste estudo propõe uma compilação bibliográfica na qual a National Library of Medicine, a Biblioteca Virtual de Saude e o Directory of Open Access Journals foram utilizados como fontes de dados por meio dos descritores: “Uterine Cervical Neoplasms”, “Papanicolaou Test” e “Women's Health” utilizando o operador booleano “and”. Os critérios de inclusão foram ensaios clínicos, randomizados ou não randomizados, estudos de caso-controle, estudo de coorte, livre acesso, publicados em inglês, português, espanhol e no intervalo de 2017 a 2022.Os onze artigos selecionados foram avaliados e construído um quadro comparativo, na qual é composta pelo número de indivíduos abordados nos estudos, ano de publicação, principais exames usados para o diagnóstico cancerígeno e faixa etária. Como resultado, o exame de papanicolau é o melhor método diagnóstico utilizado na APS por apresentar a melhor relação custo-benefício para mulheres acima de 25 anos.
