A estabilidade dos acidentados foi assegurada nas normas coletivas, à semelhança do caso dos ocupantes, garantindo a segurança da pessoa que se encontra no trabalho com doença profissional ou por acidente, desde que cumpra determinadas condições coletivas. No entanto, essa estabilidade é muito mais ampla do que a do artigo 118 da Lei nº 8.213, de 1991, pois não menciona 12 meses de trabalho garantido e determina o retorno do trabalhador acidentado. O objetivo geral foi analisar e discutir sobre o acidente de trabalho. Os objetivos específicos foram analisar o conceito de acidente de trabalho, descrever os tipos de acidentes de trabalho e discutir sobre a proteção previdenciária à vítima de acidente. A pesquisa se iniciou a partir de uma coleta de dados, onde o primeiro passo será a realização de um levantamento de artigos científicos completos circulares nacionais e/ou internacionais. Dessa forma, buscando ressaltar os objetivos que são fundamentais por meio da revisão sistemática, dos estudos realizados em observação e de modos qualitativos que são abordados em âmbito nacional ou internacional dentro do período de 2013-2022.
