REVOGAÇÃO DAS SAÍDAS TEMPORÁRIAS
VIOLAÇÃO DO DIREITO DO DETENTO OU PROTEÇÃO DOS DIREITOS DA SOCIEDADE?

Este artigo é o resultado de uma pesquisa sobre os impactos da revogação das saídas temporárias no sistema prisional brasileiro. Seu principal objetivo é avaliar se a revogação das saídas temporárias representa uma violação aos direitos dos detentos e se é medida eficaz para promover a segurança pública. Analisando legislações, doutrinas e dados sobre a realidade prisional, é possível extrair que a taxa de detentos que evadem a prisão durante as saídas é baixa. Conclui que a revogação das saídas temporárias fere direitos fundamentais dos detentos e não é a ferramenta mais eficaz para melhorar a segurança pública no Brasil.
