A RELIGIÃO COMO INSTRUMENTO EFICAZ NA RESSOCIALIZAÇÃO DO APENADO

O objetivo do presente trabalho é analisar a influência que a religião tem no processo de ressocialização do encarcerado em cumprimento de pena pela prática de crimes. Para isso, trazemos à baila a Lei Federal 7.210/84, a Constituição Federal, além de outros dispositivos do ordenamento jurídico que asseguram ao encarcerado a assistência religiosa. A pesquisa, buscou demonstrar os benefícios que a religião traz aos encarcerados, bem como a sua importância na ressocialização, e ainda, trouxe alguns dados do resultado obtido após a religião ser utilizada para ressocialização no ambiente carcerário.
