ARTE NOS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL:
O COMPROMISSO COM A PLURALIDADE CULTURAL

Tendo em vista os atuais conflitos religiosos e culturais, em função da diversidade cultural, encontra-se uma necessidade de oferecer aos alunos uma formação que garanta em sua base, conhecimento necessário sobre diversidade em caráter mundial para criar valores de tolerância, respeito e empatia perante a pluralidade cultural. Este artigo se justifica pela importância da escola trabalhar com a criança nos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental o respeito ao próximo e as diferenças, dando ao individuo uma formação integral de cidadão consciente e tolerante. Encontra-se na aula de arte possibilidade de contribuir com a formação cidadã dos alunos no sentido possibilita-los compreender a diversidade cultural e valoriza-la, pois a arte além de proporcionar a criatividade do aluno, oferece a ele um olhar mais sensível sobre o mundo. Tem-se como objetivo identificar métodos para trabalhar a diversidade cultural na escola a partir das aulas de arte. A metodologia utilizada consistiu em uma revisão de literatura, utilizando artigos, sites, revistas e livros de autores como BARBOSA (1991), LARAIA (2009), KOWALEWSKI (2014) e outros estudiosos do assunto.
