EL LEGADO DEL CONTROL EDUCATIVO Y EL RECHAZO DE LA CIENCIA

O anti-intelectualismo tem sido uma característica constante dos regimes autoritários, especialmente no contexto do fascismo histórico e nos tempos contemporâneos. Este artigo explora o papel do anti-intelectualismo nos regimes fascistas do século XX, destacando sua manifestação na Itália de Mussolini e na Alemanha nazista, com ênfase na manipulação do conhecimento, no controle da educação e na repressão a intelectuais. Também analisa a persistência dessa ideologia no contexto contemporâneo, observando como governos populistas e autoritários, como os de Donald Trump e Jair Bolsonaro, utilizam estratégias de deslegitimação da ciência e da produção acadêmica. Através da desinformação e do ataque às universidades, esses regimes enfraquecem o pensamento crítico e consolidam narrativas simplificadas que favorecem o autoritarismo. A análise sugere que a defesa da ciência e da educação é fundamental para a preservação da democracia e do conhecimento.
