A INFLUÊNCIA DO BEM-ESTAR ANIMAL NA EFICIÊNCIA PRODUTIVA E NO MERCADO AVÍCOLA
UMA ANÁLISE BASEADA NOS PRINCÍPIOS DAS CINCO LIBERDADES

O bem-estar animal tem se tornado um aspecto fundamental na indústria avícola moderna, afetando diretamente o rendimento produtivo e a aceitação dos produtos pelos consumidores. O conceito de bem-estar é baseado nos Princípios das Cinco Liberdades, que abrangem condições essenciais para a criação saudável das aves. Este estudo revisa a literatura sobre a relação entre bem-estar, desempenho produtivo e as exigências do mercado consumidor. Evidências científicas demonstram que a melhoria nas condições de manejo, como ambiente adequado, nutrição equilibrada e práticas humanizadas, resulta em maior ganho de peso, menor índice de mortalidade e melhor qualidade dos produtos avícolas. Além disso, os consumidores estão cada vez mais atentos a práticas sustentáveis e éticas, impulsionando transformações na legislação e no mercado global.
