AVALIAÇÃO E INTERVENÇÃO DA EQUIPE DE ENFERMAGEM NO CUIDADO EMOCIONAL DOS PACIENTES COM DIAGNÓSTICO DE CÂNCER

Resumen

O diagnóstico de câncer impõe grandes desafios emocionais ao paciente, seus familiares e profissionais de saúde, impactando o curso do tratamento. Este artigo tem como objetivo destacar a importância da avaliação e intervenção no cuidado emocional de pacientes oncológicos, enfatizando o papel crucial da enfermagem no manejo dessas demandas. Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura realizada entre setembro e outubro de 2024, com a análise de artigos científicos encontrados nas plataformas Scielo e Google Acadêmico. Os resultados reforçam a importância da equipe de enfermagem como principal rede de apoio para muitos pacientes, sendo essencial que esses profissionais estejam preparados e qualificados para oferecer cuidados integrais. As considerações finais apontam a necessidade de uma abordagem integrada que contemple tanto os cuidados físicos quanto emocionais, destacando a atuação da enfermagem na identificação precoce de sintomas psicológicos e na implementação de estratégias para minimizar o sofrimento emocional dos pacientes.
