CATARATA SECUNDÁRIA A UVEÍTE AUTOIMUNE ASSOCIADA À SACROILEÍTE

O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar artigos científicos relacionados a uveíte autoimune associada à sacroileíte com evolução para catarata e avaliar a importância do momento correto de realizar a cirurgia de catarata, para obter resultado cirúrgico satisfatório. A pesquisa foi realizada através da leitura de artigos indexados nas bases PubMed,SciELO e LILACS, publicados entre 2013 e 2025, disponibilidade em texto completo gratuito e sem restrição ao idioma, com foco em catarata associada à uveíte autoimune, facoemulsificação e sacroileíte, utilizando os seguintes descritores: “uveíte autoimune”, “catarata”, “facoemulsificação”, “sacroileíte”, “inflamação ocular”, “implante de lente intraocular”. Após análise da literatura especializada observou-se que a estabilização inflamatória foi determinante para o sucesso da facoemulsificação com implante de lente intraocular (LIO), com desfecho visual satisfatório. Este estudo reforça a importância do manejo multidisciplinar e controle prévio da inflamação para a reabilitação visual em olhos com histórico de uveíte
autoimune.
